Our shades are handmade from rawhide. Since they are made from authentic cowhide, expect natural markings in the shade material. We recommend using low watt compact fluorescent bulbs for our table and floor lamps. If incandescent bulbs are used, they should not exceed 60 watts on the lamp shades. Sconce bulbs should not exceed 25 watts.
